Several years ago I read “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren. He did not receive a salary from the mega church he pastored, but lived off the royalties of the book. It was widely used in church study groups – one in which I participated. I suspect there are still churches here and there reading it, but the driveness seems to have dissipated. The book inspired many. Did it transform anyone?
